Installation

To install Vincent’s Photoshop keyboard shortcuts necessary to use all of the tablet settings:

  • If you have customized your Photoshop shortcuts, back them up by first opening Photoshop, Type “CMD/CTRL+OPT/ALT+SHIFT+K” or go to Edit Menu > Keyboard shortcuts, then click the button to create a backup of your current shortcuts.
  • Find the file “OZ 2 PS” that pertains to your Operating System (Mac or PC) and double click it. This will install Vincent’s Photoshop keyboard shortcuts.
  • Before installing Vincent’s Tablet settings:

    Click here, choose your Tablet model and Operating System, then select the topmost driver to get the latest Wacom Intuos/Cintiq driver. Be sure to install the driver with your Intuos4, Intuos5 or Cintiq plugged into your computer.

    1. Close all open applications.
    2. Extract the OZ expert settings files from the zipped file. On a PC right click “Extract all”.
    3. Double click on the clearly labeled file for your OS and version of Photoshop. You will be prompted to create a back-up of your current settings. We suggest that you do this (in case you have made any tablet modifications and would like to restore them).
    4. Open your application, your tablet should now have Vincent’s settings

    Restoring Settings Mac and PC If you backed up your settings prior to, or during, the import of a Vincent’s settings, you can remove them and restore your original settings by following these steps:

    Open the Wacom Tablet Utility.

    Mac: Applications | Wacom Tablet | Wacom Tablet Utility

    PC: Start | All Programs | Wacom Tablet | Wacom Tablet Preference File utility

    1. Choose restore
    2. Browse to and select the preference file that you want to restore
    3. Your Wacom tablet preferences should now be restored

    At any time in the future, you want to back—up your preferences (and we recommend that you do), follow these simple steps:

    Mac (OS 10.4.11 or Greater); Back-Up

    1. Go to your Applications folder: Choose “Wacom Tablet”.
    2. Double click on “Wacom Tablet Utility”
    3. Here, you will be given the option to back-up settings for a future “restore”. Select “Current User”
    4. Click the “BackUp…” button

    In the “Save As” dialog, specify a name for the backup file, such as “John Doe Tablet Prefs”, and a location where you wish to save the file.

    Tip: Name your back-up preference file in a clear way so that you can keep track of it.

    Windows Back-Up

    1. Go to Start> All Programs: Choose “Wacom Tablet”
    2. Double click on “Tablet Preference File Utility”
    3. Under My Preferences, you will be given the option to “Back-up…” for a future “restore”.
    4. Click the “BackUp…” button

    In the “Save As” dialog, specify a name for the backup file, such as “John Doe Tablet Prefs”, and a location where you wish to save the file.

    Tip: Name your back-up preference file in a clear way so that you can keep track of it.
